Call for papers Pubblicazione Premio: ESHPT ~ Brill First-Book Manuscript Prize in the History of Political Thought Scadenza: 31-12-2025 Referente: ESHPT Vicepresident: Patricia ChianteraEmail : eurohpt@gmail.com Link: https://europoliticalthought.wordpress.com/ The European Society for the History of Political Thought, in partnership with Brill Publishers, invites submissions for the ESHPT~Brill First-Book Manuscript Prize in the History of Political Thought. The competition is open to authors whose unpublished first book manuscript makes a significant contribution to the history of political thought, broadly conceived. Manuscripts must be in English, and must not have been published or be under contract with a publisher; revised doctoral theses will be considered. The winner will be notified in July 2026 and awarded a cash prize of 500 Euros at the 8th biennial conference of the European Society for the History of Political Thought (to be held in Naples, Italy, in October 2026). In addition, the winning manuscript will be the subject of a panel discussion at the conference and will be considered for publication in Brill’s series on the History of European Political and Constitutional Thought. For consideration, authors must submit 1) a cover letter as well as 2) a complete and anonymised manuscript (as separate pdf. files) to eurohpt@gmail.com before the deadline of 31 December 2025.
